Producer

Nobilo

New Zealand

Founded in Marlborough in 1936 by Nikola and Zuva Nobilo, Nobilo is a historic New Zealand producer now owned by Constellation Brands and operated as one of ConstellationNZ’s export labels. Nikola Nobilo helped drive New Zealand’s shift toward Sauvignon Blanc in the 1970s and played an important role in shaping Marlborough’s reputation. The winery sources predominantly coastal Marlborough vineyards across varied climates and soil types, producing wines marked by bright acidity and intensity. Its flagship Sauvignon Blanc and Icon collection showcase the region’s distinctive fruit, while the brand’s broad international success reflects a substantial commercial scale rather than a small artisanal operation.
