Jean Tardy

France

Jean Tardy is a family-owned domaine in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy, founded by Victor Tardy in the 1920s and taken over by Jean in 1966. Today, Jean’s son Guillaume Tardy leads the winemaking, continuing the family tradition. The vineyards have been farmed organically since 2019, without chemical treatments, using natural compost, short pruning, de-budding, green harvesting and careful canopy management to control disease and maintain low yields. The domaine’s limited production is subject to allocation, reflecting its artisanal scale. Its wines are shaped by a hands-on, low-yield approach rooted in the family’s long history in Vosne-Romanée.
