Producer

Dashwood

New Zealand

Dashwood has produced Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir in Marlborough since 1989, with its winery in the Waihopai Valley and grapes sourced from the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. Its wines emphasize freshness, aromatic fruit, lively acidity, and clear regional character shaped by cool, coastal conditions and alluvial soils. The winery highlights sustainability through New Zealand recycled glass bottles, sugarcane labels, water conservation, land care, wildlife protection, and solar power. Chief Winemaker Stu Marfell, born in the Awatere Valley, has been with Dashwood since 2003 and in his current role since 2007, supported by winemakers Susan van der Pol and Tom Turner and viticulturist Mat Duncan.
