Producer

Cleto Chiarli

Italy

Cleto Chiarli is a family-owned producer in Castelvetro di Modena, Emilia-Romagna, run by brothers Mauro and Anselmo Chiarli. The modern winery, established in 2003, continues a Lambrusco tradition that dates back to 1860 and is closely tied to the historic Vecchia Modena bottling. Its vineyards are managed organically with integrated pest control, and the estate also produces certified organic wines. Winemaking, led by Michele Faccin and Filippo Mattioli, focuses on single-fermentation, pressure-controlled vinification and careful bottle aging. The house is particularly identified with Lambrusco, including Sorbara and Grasparossa, combining deep regional roots with modern technique and a long commitment to the requalification of Lambrusco.
