Tunella

Italy

Tunella is a three-generation, family-owned estate in Colli Orientali del Friuli, run by the Zorzettig family. Brothers Massimo and Marco Zorzettig and their mother Gabriella oversee vineyards owned directly by the winery, with a focus on native varieties. Most harvesting is carried out by hand, while traditional French Guyot and single-arched cane systems are used in the vineyards. Yields are deliberately limited to support quality, although no formal sustainability certification is reported. The wines have received notable recognition, including top awards for Pignolo 2015 and Biancosesto 2020, as well as repeated inclusion in Gentleman’s Top 50 Italian wines.
