Producer

Mazzoni

Italy

Mazzoni is a multigenerational family producer with roots in Piedmont’s Ghemme DOCG, where Tiziano, Rita and Gilles Mazzoni manage the vineyards and oversee winemaking, bottling and direct sales. Founded in 1999, the family works historic vineyards in Ghemme and Cavaglio d’Agogna, producing Nebbiolo-based reds with organic principles, low chemical use, hand-harvesting and indigenous yeasts. Their approach combines inherited traditions with careful use of new technology and minimal-intervention winemaking. The family also operates a fourth-generation estate in California’s Alexander Valley, where Mark and Lisa Mazzoni farm with solar power and nature-led practices. Across both properties, Mazzoni emphasizes sustainability, family stewardship and respect for the land.
