Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg

France

Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg is a family-owned estate in Vosne-Romanée, Burgundy, rooted in a family presence there since 1930 and today led by third-generation sisters Marie-Christine and Marie-Andrée Mugneret, with Jacqueline Mugneret and the next generation also involved. The domaine emphasizes respect for terroir, the environment, and Pinot Noir, farming with low-intervention, organic-style methods such as ploughing, hand harvesting, green harvesting, careful sorting, and natural treatments only when needed, without formal certification. In the cellar, the approach is gentle and classical, using indigenous yeasts, total destemming, élevage in oak, and bottling without fining or filtering to preserve delicacy, fruit, and freshness.
