Tornatore

Tornatore is a historic family-owned estate on the northern slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, founded in 1865 and now run by fourth-generation Francesco Tornatore, who also serves as winemaker. The estate farms volcanic vineyards with varied exposures and also maintains olive groves and hazelnut orchards. Originally a mixed farm, Tornatore has evolved into a focused Etna DOC producer while remaining rooted in family heritage. Its approach combines tradition with modern practices, with an emphasis on consistency and value. Sustainability is central to the winery, with environmentally sensitive farming, renewable energy use, and certifications from VIVA and SOStain.
