Thévenet & Fils is a family-owned domaine in Burgundy’s Mâconnais, with vineyards around Pierreclos and neighboring villages, including Les Clos in Bussières. The estate spans three generations: today brothers Benjamin, Jonathan and Aurélien Thévenet run the vineyards and cellar under the supervision of their mother Hélène, continuing the work of Jean-Claude Thévenet. The vineyards are planted on clay and limestone soils, with sustainable farming practices but no formal certification. Reported practices include routine ploughing, use of natural cork, some hand-harvesting on old vines, and replanting part of the Chardonnay holdings to red varieties. Production focuses on the region’s classic grapes, including Chardonnay, Gamay and Pinot Noir.
