Villa Dora

Italy

Founded in 1997 by Vincenzo Ambrosio, Villa Dora is a family-owned estate in Terzigno on the southern slopes of Mount Vesuvius. Its vineyards, planted with ungrafted indigenous varieties more than 70 years old, lie at approximately 250 metres on volcanic pumice soils. Certified organic farming and minimal cellar intervention underpin a natural, terroir-focused style. Ambrosio remains owner and operator, while his nephew Vincenzo Orabona manages the estate and directs the portfolio as bottling manager. The wines are shaped by the volcanic landscape and the estate’s commitment to preserving local vines and expressing their character with restraint.
