Narupa

Narupa is a small, family-run winery in Barrantes, in Galicia’s Val do Salnés, Rías Baixas. Founded by Rosa and Paco Pedrosa, Ruth Campelo and Nacho Jiménez, it works with Albariño from its own family vineyards, including the vineyard inherited in 1990. The estate produces three labels—Alalá, Caneco and Piorno—whose grapes reflect granitic soils ranging from siliceous to sandy and clay loams, including an inland site away from the sea. Viticulture is ecological and biological, combining organic-type practices, minimal systemic treatments and manual vineyard work, without formal certification. The founding family team also handles the winemaking, maintaining a focused, artisanal approach to Albariño.
