Mas des Capitelles

France

Mas des Capitelles is a family-owned estate in the AOP Faugères of Southern France, founded in 1999 by ninth-generation vigneron Jean Laugé and now run by his sons, Cédric and Nicolas. The Laugé brothers oversee the winemaking directly, maintaining a traditional, artisanal approach rooted in family heritage. Their steep schist terraces are planted to Mourvèdre, Carignan and Syrah, including vines up to 80 years old. Since 2011, the entire vineyard has been farmed under certified organic and biodynamic practices.
