Domaine Gérard Julien & Fils

France

Domaine Gérard Julien & Fils is a small, family-owned estate in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, founded in the late 19th century by François-Xavier Julien. Gérard Julien and his wife, Ghislaine, currently manage the domaine, with their son Étienne expected to continue the family legacy. Production is modest, including approximately 6,000 bottles of Nuits-Saint-Georges in the 2014 vintage. The estate is also associated with the Echezeaux Grand Cru vineyard. No organic or biodynamic certification, or specific sustainable farming practices, are mentioned.
