Roccolo Grassi

Italy

Roccolo Grassi is a family-run estate founded in 1996 by Marco and Francesca Satori in Mezzane di Sotto, near Verona in Veneto. Led by winemaker Marco Satori, the winery focuses on artisanal production in Valpolicella and Soave, with wines shaped to express their territory, including calcareous and alluvial soils. The approach is sustainable but uncertified, with careful pruning, limited yields, organic yeasts, and low-intervention cellar work. Their philosophy emphasizes respectful, conservative enology: preserving the quality of the fruit, working cleanly and attentively, and letting the wine itself guide decisions. The aim is to produce distinctive, ageworthy wines with character and a clear sense of place.
