Domaine Morey-Coffinet

France

Domaine Morey-Coffinet is a family-run estate in Chassagne-Montrachet, Burgundy, founded by Michel Morey and Fabienne Coffinet and now led by winemaker Thibault Morey, alongside Michel Morey. The domaine farms vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin, including Premier Cru sites and a Grand Cru parcel in Bâtard-Montrachet, producing both white and red Burgundies. Certified organic since 2018, it has practiced biodynamic viticulture since 2015, with horse plowing, electric-tractor tillage, cover cropping, sheep grazing after harvest, and no synthetic treatments. The focus is clearly on careful, quality-driven farming, while biodynamic work remains centered in the vineyards rather than the cellar.
