Domaine Daniel Rion & Fils

France

Domaine Daniel Rion & Fils is a family-owned Burgundy estate founded by Daniel Rion in 1955 and now run by the Rion family. The domaine works vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Clos Vougeot and Échezeaux, among other Côte and Hautes-Côtes de Nuits appellations. Its traditional approach includes manual harvesting, rigorous sorting, low yields, careful vine management and low-intervention practices. Wines are fermented in open-top stainless steel with extended maceration, then aged in oak for 12–18 months, resulting in clean, fruity expressions with refined tannins and good ageing potential.
