Producer

Salvatore Martusciello

Italy

Salvatore and Gilda Martusciello run an independent, family-owned estate in Campania, founded in 2015 and devoted to native grapes and the region’s lesser-known DOC wines. Their work spans Campi Flegrei, the Agro Aversano and the Sorrentina Peninsula, with a focus on tradition, typicity and authentic relationships. Volcanic, sandy soils in Campi Flegrei allow ungrafted, own-rooted vines, while the historic alberata training system remains central to Asprinio cultivation. The estate preserves ancient local practices and produces wines with personality and sensory persistence, including Gragnano, described as a wine of Neapolitan tradition, alongside sparkling wines made by Charmat and traditional methods. Winemaking is led by Salvatore alongside Gilda, with low-intervention practices emphasizing terroir and cultural continuity.
