Producer

Rocca delle Macie

Italy

Rocca delle Macie is based in Castellina in Chianti, Tuscany, where it produces Chianti Classico wines under the Famiglia Zingarelli label. The estate is described as family-owned and operated, and its vineyards are certified organic, with certification noted since 2001; the 2023 vintage is also certified kosher. Vineyard sites are planted on Miocene deposits with marly limestone and silty-sandy, stony, highly calcareous soils, at 266–360 meters with mainly south to southwest exposures. These details point to a producer with a clear focus on site and sustainable farming. The estate also welcomes visitors with guided tours and tastings.
