Gruhier & Delaunay

France

Gruhier & Delaunay are associated cousins and fifth-generation vignerons producing Chablis in Burgundy. The partnership brings together Dominique Gruhier, a Chablis vigneron with 30 years’ experience, and Laurent Delaunay, an oenologist and winemaker from a long-established Burgundian family of producers and négociants. Their wines are made at the Domaine de l’Abbaye du Petit Quincy in Épineuil, with a focus on purity, terroir expression and cooler, northern-facing parcels on Kimmeridgian marl-limestone soils. The range includes Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru Fourchaume and Vaucoupin, and Grand Cru Les Preuses. Gruhier’s estate has been Ecocert-certified organic since 2015 and follows biodynamic practices, including sheep grazing and biodiversity initiatives.
