Domaine Joliet

France

Domaine Joliet is a family-owned monopole estate in Fixin, Burgundy, centered on the historic Clos de la Perrière, held by the Joliet family since 1853. The family’s roots in Burgundy stretch back to 1570, and the estate’s story reaches further still through the Cistercian monks of Cîteaux, whose 12th-century cellars and press remain at the Manoir de la Perrière. Preserved through seven generations, the domaine is now led by Bénigne Joliet and his daughter Camille. The estate focuses chiefly on Pinot Noir, alongside a small amount of Chardonnay, producing Fixin Premier Cru red and white from this historic clos. Respect, precision, and attention to soil and terroir are cited as guiding principles.
