Family-owned Bodegas Piedra is based in the Guareña valley in the heart of Toro D.O., Castilla y León. Founded in 1968, it grew from the Stein family’s passion for wine and focuses on expressing the character of the Duero lands through Tinta de Toro. Its vineyards include old-vine parcels planted in 1927 and 1967, with sandy, stony alluvial soils over clay and a continental climate influenced by the Atlantic. The winery combines traditional knowledge with modern winemaking and a commitment to environmentally respectful practices, producing organic and natural wines. Its range includes young wines made without sulphites or additive treatments, as well as more mature expressions of old-vine fruit; Piedra Natural Organic is certified organic, vegan, and sulphite-free.
