VIK is a Chilean wine estate in the Millahue Valley, Cachapoal, at the foothills of the Andes. Founded in 2004 after a search for exceptional South American terroir, it produces wines exclusively from its own vineyards. The estate is led by Chief Winemaker Cristián Vallejo and focuses on precision, restraint, innovation, and careful vineyard sector selection to express terroir. Its vineyards lie on deep, porous decomposed granitic soils with good drainage, in a temperate Mediterranean climate influenced by marine breezes. VIK also highlights its proprietary “Barroir” barrel program, reusing native oak from the estate in a sustainability- and circular economy-minded approach. The property also includes hospitality facilities such as a restaurant and luxury accommodation.
