Torre dei Beati is a family-owned winery in Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo, founded in 1999 and run by Adriana Galasso and Fausto Albanesi. The estate farms its own vineyards organically, focusing on native varieties including Montepulciano, Pecorino and Trebbiano. Vineyards lie on clay-limestone hills between the Adriatic and Gran Sasso, with older vines trained to the traditional Abruzzo pergola. Careful, successive harvesting selects only healthy, fully ripe bunches, while the cellar combines modern technology with traditional, respectful winemaking and minimal use of preservatives. The wines aim to express the character of the territory with fruit, structure and a certain tannic austerity. Torre dei Beati has earned repeated recognition from Italian guides and critics, including Gambero Rosso, Slow Wine, Veronelli, Bibenda and Vinibuoni d’Italia.
