Château de l'Anglais

France

Château de l’Anglais is a small estate in Puisseguin, Bordeaux, operated and directed by François Brissot since 2004, with Pierre Troisgros as an associate. Its vineyard is planted almost entirely to Merlot on clay-limestone soils, producing wines under the Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion and Bordeaux appellations. Certified organic, the estate also follows reasoned farming practices, including yield control. The wines reflect a focused, artisanal approach rooted in a modest Merlot-dominated vineyard and direct estate management.
