Behrens Family Winery is a family-owned, boutique producer on Spring Mountain in Napa Valley, founded by Les Behrens and Lisa Drinkward in 2005 after years making wine under the Behrens & Hitchcock label that began in 1993. The winery focuses on small lots from low-yielding vineyard sites in Napa and Sonoma, working closely with quality-minded growers. Their approach is low-tech and handcrafted, with hand punch-downs, gentle barrel transfer, and bottling unfined and unfiltered to let site and wine speak for themselves. Les Behrens leads the winemaking, guided by instinct and palate, while Lisa manages vineyard and grower relations.
