Le Mas des Flauzières

France

Le Mas des Flauzières is a historic medieval farm in the Rhône Valley, linked to Château d’Entrechaux and owned by the Benoît family since 1919. Jérôme Benoît, an agronomic engineer and oenologist, runs the family estate and built its vinification cellar in 2002. Vineyards extend across Gigondas, Séguret, Vacqueyras, Ventoux and Côtes du Rhône, on soils of sand, rock, limestone and minerals at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Certified HVE and Terra Vitis, the estate follows sustainable practices including grassed inter-rows, biodiversity planting, minimal chemical intervention and reliance on the Mistral. Pruning, trimming and disbudding are carried out by hand, with bottling performed on site.
