Le Grand Ballon

France

Le Grand Ballon is the flagship label of family-run Domaine Joël Delaunay in France’s Loire Valley. Founded by Joël Delaunay, the estate is now led by his son Thierry—its fifth generation—together with his wife Marie; Thierry is both owner and winemaker. The range comes from 21 hectares on the banks of the Cher, where clay-limestone soils with flint are farmed sustainably, without synthetic chemicals, and with organic practices. Vinification follows Ecocert-certified standards. These wines reflect a multigenerational family estate and the character of its Loire Valley vineyards.
