Producer

Chasing Rabbits

South Africa

Chasing Rabbits is a boutique, family-run producer in South Africa’s Western Cape, backed by the Bosman family’s eight generations of heritage since 1798. The estate practices certified organic, minimal-intervention viticulture, including at its Communal Pasture (Gesamelike Wei) vineyard, planted in 2016 on land historically used for communal grazing by nomadic trek farmers. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel, then aged without oak to preserve the vineyard’s natural ecosystem and express its character clearly.
