Cantine Elvio Tintero

Italy

Tintero is a family-owned estate in Mango, in Piedmont’s Cuneo province, founded in 1900 by Pierre Tintero and Rosina Cortese and now run by third-generation Marco Tintero, with Elvio and Cinzia also involved. Based on the steep hills of Località Gramella, the family has tended vines here for three generations, combining local tradition with a measured openness to change. In the 1980s, Elvio expanded the estate’s work with Moscato and helped modernise its frizzante wines. Farming is sustainability-minded, with attention to ecosystem balance, reduced-intensity agronomic practices, and environmental protection, supported by specialized technicians. The estate produces DOC and DOCG wines with a focus on quality and respect for the natural space.
