Founded in 1972 in Foglianise, Campania, Cantina del Taburno is a cooperative owned by the Agricultural Consortium of Benevento and supported by around 300 member growers. Its grapes come from vineyards on the slopes of Monte Taburno, where altitude, calcareous soils, and marked temperature variation contribute freshness, minerality, and aromatic character. The winery practices integrated sustainable farming and focuses on expressing the identity of the Taburno territory through balanced, traditional wines, including DOC and DOCG bottlings. Winemaking is guided by consulting oenologist Professor Luigi Moio and on-site oenologist Filippo Colandrea. The cooperative is recognized for valorizing its growers and local viticultural heritage while pursuing a more modern, shared vision.
