Penley Estate is a family-owned Coonawarra producer in South Australia, led by sisters Ang and Bec Tolley since 2015. Born from the Penfold and Tolley wine families, the estate traces back to land bought by the family in 1988, with the winery established in 1995. Working with estate-grown fruit from Coonawarra’s iron-rich Terra Rossa soils, Penley focuses on classic Cabernet blends and Shiraz. The estate is certified by Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, is transitioning to NASAA organic certification, and takes part in the EcoVineyards/EcoGrowers initiative, using IPM, cover crops, biodiversity plantings and precision farming to improve soil health and water use. The wines are vegan certified, with winemaking shaped by Kym Tolley, Kate Goodman and Hans Loder.
