Homefire Wines

United States

Homefire Wines is a family-oriented, estate-focused producer in Dry Creek Valley, California, making wine for about 20 years. Its organically farmed vineyard carries a “Sustainably Farmed” label, and the wines are moved from vineyard to bottle with minimal intervention. Family and friends handle hand-picking, sorting, fermentation and bottling, reflecting a hands-on, artisanal approach. Homefire emphasizes flavor over production numbers, with minimalist cellar work intended to express the Dry Creek Valley appellation authentically. The estate vineyard includes vines from a St. Peter’s Church clone originally grown outside a Cloverdale church in the early 1900s, while the elevated Mia’s Secret site produces rich mountain fruit and dark berry flavors.
