Domaine Bruno Clavelier

France

Domaine Bruno Clavelier is a family-owned, artisanal estate based in Vosne-Romanée in Burgundy, led by owner-winemaker Bruno Clavelier. Rooted in old family vines and a history in the village dating back to the late 18th century, the domaine has been estate-bottling its full harvest since 1992. Farming is biodynamic and certified organic by Ecocert, with hand harvesting, ploughing, manual vine work, and no herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers. In the cellar, Clavelier follows a low-intervention, terroir-focused approach: indigenous yeasts, up to 30% whole clusters depending on cru and vintage, gentle extraction, gravity handling, 16 to 18 months in French oak, and no fining or filtration. The wines are made to reflect each climat and the character of the vintage rather than a fixed house style.
