Domaine Benjamin Taillandier

France

Domaine Taillandier is a Minervois estate in Caunes-Minervois, at the foot of the Montagne Noire in Languedoc-Roussillon, founded in 2007 and owned and led by Benjamin Taillandier. The vineyards are farmed organically since 2011 and biodynamically since 2022, with hand work, goblet-trained vines, manual harvests, and a strong focus on healthy living soils and biodiversity. In the cellar, Benjamin follows a minimal-intervention approach, using indigenous yeasts, spontaneous fermentations, very little sulfur, and vessels such as foudre and amphorae to emphasize purity, fruit, and minerality. His wines are described as fresh, lower-alcohol, and expressive of the Minervois terroir. He also runs the seasonal Cantine du Curé wine bar in Caunes-Minervois.
