Cave de Lugny is a long-established cooperative in Lugny, at the heart of Burgundy’s Mâconnais, bringing together around 400 growers. Its wines reflect the region’s clay-limestone and marl-rich terroirs, with a portfolio focused on Chardonnay alongside Bourgogne and Mâcon reds and whites. The cooperative has been certified for sustainable winegrowing since 2014 and follows vegan farming practices. Winemaker Grégoire Pissot oversees wines intended to express specific terroirs, including regional, village and lieu-dit appellations. Cave de Lugny has produced Crémant de Bourgogne by traditional method since 1975, including the Sainchargny range made from hand-harvested Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
