Producer

Domaine Martine & Christian Rouchier

France

Domaine Martine & Christian Rouchier is a family-owned micro-producer in the Northern Rhône, run and made by husband-and-wife team Martine and Christian Rouchier. Their vineyards are organically certified and fully biodynamic, cultivated by hand and formerly with horses, with cover crops, mulching, composting and hedges supporting soil health. The domaine follows a natural, low-intervention approach in the cellar: wines are made without added sulfur and bottled unfined and unfiltered. With only around 2–2.5 hectares of vines and an initial vintage of approximately 300 bottles, production is exceptionally limited.
