Luigi Tecce

Italy

Luigi Tecce is a family-run estate in Paternopoli, within Taurasi DOCG in Campania, focused on Aglianico from centenarian vines, including old vineyards trained in the local raggiera avellinese system. Owned and operated by Luigi Tecce himself, the estate follows an organic, natural approach, with no added sulphur and references to biodynamic and Triple A farming. Vineyards sit around 550 metres altitude on sandy, clay-limestone soils enriched by ancient volcanic material. Tecce oversees hand-harvesting, native-yeast fermentation, chestnut-tin fermentations, and long aging in 500L puncheons and large wooden botti. The style is traditional and minimalist, aimed at purity, transparency, and clear terroir expression.
