Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin

France

Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin is a long-established family domaine in Chablis, Burgundy, with roots in the area dating back to the 16th century. Run by Jean-Paul Droin and his son Benoît, the estate farms across Petit Chablis, Chablis, Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites. Their approach in both vineyard and cellar is focused on expressing the distinct mineral character and identity of each climat, seeking balance between power and finesse without overpowering the terroir. Farming includes regular ploughing and a balanced pest-control strategy to preserve soils, reflecting a sustainable mindset without formal certification.
