Producer

Estancia

United States

Founded in 1986, Estancia is a California producer based in Monterey County, with winery locations in Madera and San Miguel. Its wines are sourced from vineyards across California, including Monterey County and other Central Coast appellations, with an emphasis on expressing each site’s character. The producer describes its style as versatile, balanced, and consistent. Its Paso Robles single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is made with whole-cluster fermentation in open-top fermenters, gentle punch-downs, basket pressing, and gravity flow. Individual tanks are matched to vineyard blocks before blending, reflecting a site-focused approach to winemaking.
