Azienda Agricola Il Cascinone

Italy

Azienda Agricola Il Cascinone is a family-run estate in Piedmont, acquired by the Araldica group in 1999 and operated under the Manera family, including Carlo and Claudio Manera and Lella Burdese. Its vineyards occupy steep, differently oriented slopes suited to varieties including Barbera, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Brachetto, Moscato, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. The estate holds SQNPI certification for sustainable, eco-compatible farming, avoiding herbicides and pesticides, reusing cellar wastewater and following organic-style practices. Employee welfare is also part of its approach. A dedicated single-block Merlot vineyard, planted in 2000, is among the estate’s distinctive features.
