Barton & Guestier

France

Barton & Guestier is a historic Bordeaux négociant, with roots reaching back to the 18th century and a long tradition of exporting French wine. The family-owned house operates its own vineyards and owns Château Magnol, a Cru Bourgeois estate and headquarters in Bordeaux, which includes a guesthouse and wine academy. Its Entre-Deux-Mers vineyard has sandy, gravelly and limestone soils, an oceanic climate, and High Environmental Value certification. The portfolio spans France’s principal wine regions, while the winemaking team focuses on consistent quality and style across vintages. The house also emphasizes environmentally responsible practices, including vegan-friendly wines such as its 2022 Chablis.
