Ampelidae is a family-owned Loire Valley domaine founded in 1995 in the Vienne, now based at Château des Roches in Marigny-Brizay. The estate farms organically and produces certified-organic wines from 85 hectares divided among 51 parcels, with varied soils including flint, tuffeau, marl, chalk and sand. Its approach emphasizes observation, preventive vineyard work, careful harvesting at maturity and minimal intervention, aiming to express overlooked Vienne terroirs. The domaine operates several sites and is led by Frédéric Brochet, Isabella Meuli and oenologist Gilles de Bollardière, combining regional-scale production with a stated commitment to responsible farming, social values and local distribution.
