Domaine Sylvain Cathiard

France

Domaine Sylvain Cathiard is a family-owned Côte de Nuits estate in Burgundy, with vineyards in Vosne-Romanée, Chambolle-Musigny, Nuits-Saint-Georges and Romanée-Saint-Vivant. Founded in the 1930s, it is now a fourth-generation domaine run by Sébastien Cathiard, with Sylvain Cathiard and Marinette still involved. Farming follows a sustainable, organic-style approach without formal certification, avoiding herbicides, limiting pesticides, and keeping chemical intervention minimal. The domaine is known for intentionally low production and a hands-on, family-run style.
