Domaine Lucien & Fanny Rocault

France

Domaine Lucien & Fanny Rocault is a family-owned estate in Saint-Romain, in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, with vineyards across the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and southern Côte de Beaune. The 18th-generation Rocault family has cultivated vines in Burgundy for generations; Lucien founded the domaine and is joined by his wife Fanny. Their vineyards are certified organic, with permanent grass cover and under-row cultivation, while some parcels are worked with a light crawler tractor to respect soil life. Grapes are hand-harvested and wines are made naturally with indigenous yeasts and a low-intervention approach, aiming to express terroir and variety. The domaine produces wines including Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, Saint-Romain, Saint-Aubin 1er Cru, Bourgogne Aligoté and Coteaux Bourguignons rosé, and welcomes visitors for tastings in its historic Burgundian cellars.
