Domaine de la Guilloterie

France

Domaine de la Guilloterie is a family-run estate in Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, in the Saumur area of the Loire Valley, owned by the Duveau family since 1835 and now operated by Patrice and Rémi Duveau. Its vineyards lie in Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg and Brézé, on predominantly clay-limestone soils, producing Saumur Champigny, Saumur Blanc, Coteaux de Saumur and Crémant de Loire from Cabernet Franc, Chenin and Chardonnay. The estate follows reasoned, tradition-minded viticulture focused on preserving wine authenticity, with HEV level 3 certification, full green cover and native grass. Winemaking is led by Patrice Duveau, with consultant Franck, and is described as minimal-intervention with careful oxygen management.
