Domaine Christelle Betton

France

Domaine Christelle Betton is a third-generation, family-owned estate in the northern Rhône, run by Christelle and her father Roland. The domaine produces wines from Hermitage and Crozes-Hermitage, with vineyards farmed organically through flexible, natural practices without formal certification. Grapes are hand-picked, including from steep slopes, and vinified by plot. Christelle leads a low-intervention approach using indigenous yeasts, older French oak, and unfined, unfiltered bottling. Her philosophy is to respect the terroir while preserving Syrah’s primary aromas, creating finely detailed cuvées from the family’s heritage.
