Antica Tenuta Pietramore is a family-owned estate founded in 2011 by winemaker Maria Pia Leone and her partner Massimiliano in Controguerra, Abruzzo. Working across the main terroirs of Chieti, Teramo, and Pescara, the estate focuses on indigenous Abruzzo varieties and DOP wines that aim to express place, vintage, and varietal character. Biodynamic farming is central to the project: Pietramore is Demeter-certified, follows biodynamic principles and natural cycles, and also produces fully vegan wines. Led by Maria Pia Leone, the winery emphasizes conscientious farming, environmental respect, and a quality-focused approach rooted in the connection between land, climate, and people.
