Vega Clara

Spain

Founded in 2005 by Clara Concejo, Vega Clara is a woman-owned, family-guided winery in Quintanilla de Onésimo, on Ribera del Duero’s Golden Mile. The estate farms its vineyards sustainably and emphasizes respect for the land and region. Its wines are artisanal and made through coupages, always including Tinta Fino or Tempranillo, with vineyards of different ages and varieties, including old Cabernet Sauvignon vines and parcels in Anguix and Pedrosa de Duero. Clara Concejo leads the project as founder, manager, and winemaker alongside enologist Juan J. Ayuso. Vega Clara’s personal D’ACAN project donates all profits to the Diabetes Research Institute in Miami, supporting research into a biological cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
