Gilles Robin

France

Domaine Gilles Robin is a four-generation Rhône Valley estate founded in 1920 and taken over by Gilles Robin in 1996. Focused particularly on Syrah and terroir expression, the domaine works clay-and-pebble terraces and has expanded into Cornas and Saint-Péray. Since 2012, vineyard management has emphasized organic farming, with soil cultivation, compost, plant-based preparations, and carefully considered treatments. In the cellar, selective sorting, gravity systems, natural yeasts, and parcel-by-parcel vinification support a precise expression of individual sites. The estate’s wines have received international press coverage and recognition, with the domaine regularly presenting its cuvées at major Rhône and international tasting events.
