Domaine Plageoles

France

Domaine Plageoles is a long-established family estate in Gaillac, in France’s Sud-Ouest, owned by the Plageoles family since 1805. Now run by brothers Florent and Romain Plageoles, with Bernard, Robert, and other family members also involved, the domaine remains firmly multigenerational and family-led. It is known for organic viticulture, though no formal certification is cited, and for low-intervention, natural winemaking with native yeasts. The estate focuses on low-yield production and is particularly noted for single-varietal wines made from a range of rare local grapes, reflecting a strong commitment to Gaillac’s regional heritage.
